Partnership Hosted Parent University Bullying
Workshop at Jefferson Terrace
Local families were
invited to a bullying workshop on Wednesday, March 24, 2010,
from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Head Start room at Jefferson
Terrace. The event was free and open to the public, and dinner
and childcare were provided.
Geared for families of
children being bullied and also for families whose children may
be intimidating others, this workshop allowed participants and
facilitators to discuss the effect bullying has on children and
families.
This was the first in a series of parenting programs that will
take place in a community setting instead of after hours at
school.
This event was a program of
Parent University. We were thrilled to have so many active
Partnership members help to make it happen. Thank you to
Mediation Matters, Saratoga Center for the
Family, Saratoga Mentoring Program, and Four Winds Hospital.
