2007-08 Youth Profiles
The Saratoga Springs City School District, the Saratoga Partnership
for Prevention, and The Saratogian are working together again
this fall to continue to bring the school district’s Character
Education initiative into the community with a monthly newspaper
column called “Profiles in Character.” This monthly feature will
recognize local youth who make a positive impact in their community
by demonstrating positive character traits.
If you know a person
who:
-
Is in grade K-12 in the Saratoga
Springs City School District?
-
Makes a positive impact by
exhibiting the character trait of the month in little ways, or in
a big way?
If so, please
consider nominating them for recognition in the “Profiles
in Character” spotlight.
The monthly themes are:
October: Respect
November:
Responsibility
December: Caring
January: Tolerance
February: Hard Work
March: Trustworthiness
April: Fairness
May: Citizenship
June: A Time for Reflection
The column
will appear in the newspaper on the last Tuesday of each month.
Please submit nominations by the third Tuesday of the month.
