Summit Committee
meetings - Ongoing
An organizational meeting took place on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in
the high school teaching auditorium to follow through on ideas
generated at the Community Summit on Youth, hosted by the Saratoga
Springs City School District, the District Attorney’s Office and the
Partnership for Prevention in November 2007. The keynote speaker was
adolescent brain development expert, Mike Nerney.
Four committees were established to discuss ideas generated at the
Summit: parent resources, high school transition, public
perception of harm, and youth-focused initiatives. These
committees will meet on an ongoing basis this winter. If you are
interested in working with any of these groups, please contact
Courtney
Lamport or
Mike
Piccirillo.
